SISU Empowering Others Joins the Sabor de Cinco y Tacos Block Party in Allentown

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, SISU Empowering Others proudly participated in the Sabor de Cinco y Tacos Block Party, a vibrant cultural celebration hosted by Interlace Cultural y Desarrollo Integral Mexicano de Lehigh Valley, Inc. (ICDI). The event took place on Hamilton Street between 9th and Fountain in the heart of Allentown from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The block party brought together food vendors, local businesses, artists, and nonprofit organizations in a festive showcase of community spirit, cultural pride, and Latin heritage. With music, dancing, delicious tacos, and authentic cultural expression, the day was a joyful celebration of diversity and unity.
SISU Empowering Others was honored to be one of the participating organizations, using this platform to engage with the community, raise awareness about our programs, and share our mission of empowering vulnerable populations through mentorship, advocacy, transportation, housing, and access to vital services.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Hilda and the ICDI team for organizing this impactful event and for including SISU in such a meaningful celebration. The energy was electric, the vibe unforgettable—and yes, we danced our hearts out!
