That’s why we are excited to introduce our Nutritional Education & Meal Prep Classes, a weekly program designed to make healthy eating both affordable and achievable.
This initiative focuses on the theme of Budget-Friendly Healthy Eating, combining the expertise of a certified nutritionist and chef to guide participants through hands-on cooking classes. Each week, participants gather to learn how to create nutritious meals using simple, low-cost ingredients commonly found in local grocery stores or pantries.
Participants learn how to plan balanced meals for the week, understand basic nutrition principles, stretch their food dollars, and reduce food waste.
One of the most important aspects of this program is its focus on empowerment. Food insecurity and lack of nutritional education can contribute to long-term health issues, decreased energy levels, and increased stress.
