SISU Empowering Others had the incredible honor of being invited to the Fiesta Colombia Gala, hosted by the Hispanic Center of the Lehigh Valley (HCLV). This vibrant and heartfelt annual celebration is more than a cultural showcase—it’s a powerful fundraiser that helps fuel the essential programs and services HCLV provides to the community.

Each year, the Hispanic Center highlights a different culture, and this year, they brought the spirit, rhythm, and flavor of Colombia to life. The evening was filled with rich traditions, joyful dancing, delicious cuisine, and a beautiful sense of pride that united everyone in the room. SISU was grateful to be part of this special night, celebrating not just a country, but the strength and beauty of our diverse community.

During the event, HCLV also shared moving testimonials and updates on the services they provide, including advocacy, housing support, food access, health navigation, and cultural programming. The Gala was a beautiful reminder of why we do the work we do—and how impactful it is when nonprofits unite for a shared mission of empowerment and equity.
