On Sunday, June 9, SISU Empowering Others was deeply honored by a heartfelt appreciation dinner hosted by Libre Initiative, recognizing the dedication and impact of our board, members, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community allies. The evening was a celebration of the incredible work accomplished during our “Celebrate Culture and Community” event on May 22, which brought together diverse voices and partners to uplift and empower our community.

A very special thank you goes out to Uni and the Libre Initiative team for organizing this meaningful evening. Your gesture reminded us how impactful it is to pause, celebrate, and acknowledge the collective power of community service and unity.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Eliana, who worked closely with Uni to plan this beautiful gathering. Her thoughtful coordination helped bring our community together once again, not just to celebrate the past, but to reignite the passion that drives SISU's mission forward.
