In September 2024, SISU Empowering Others, under the leadership of Founder Isa Sanchez, proudly presented at 1 Million Cups, a national platform designed to engage and support entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. The mission of 1 Million Cups is to foster community support and provide valuable feedback through direct engagement with peers, local business leaders, and the community at large.
Isa Sanchez took the stage to share the vision and mission of SISU, which focuses on empowering vulnerable populations, particularly individuals living with HIV, through mentorship, advocacy, and a range of supportive services. Isa highlighted the core values of the organization, emphasizing how SISU’s community-driven approach sets it apart in providing essential resources and creating an inclusive environment for those in need.
The event was a great success, with the audience offering thoughtful questions and insightful feedback. The 1 Million Cups community shared ideas on how SISU can further expand its reach and strengthen its impact.
